Below Pam shares a bit of information about herself:
Born and raised in Northport, Long Island, New York, AAS (Associate Applied Science) – SUNY, Farmingdale, NY, and an AS – Brevard Community College, Cocoa, FL, BS – UCF, FL.
I was an Air Force wife who travelled the world with my late husband. I have 2 beautiful, witty women for daughters. They gave me 4 wonderful grandchildren, Jessica 23, Tyler 17, Hannah 14, and Eli 7.
Started work with Brevard County in February 1978 in the Library Services Department. Progressed from Executive Secretary to Books by Mail Librarian. In 1996 went to work in Palm Beach County Library System as Circulation Manager of the Southwest County Library. Returned to Brevard County in 1999 as Animal Services and Enforcement Customer Service Manager. Interesting time in my life!
Promoted to Brevard County Recycling Coordinator in March 2001. Never knew I’d end up in a landfill! God does have a sense of humor. I have learned so much from my association with Recycle Florida Today. The educational sessions were enlightening, but the networking with peers gave me so much information never found in the books!
It has been my pleasure to serve on the Board of Directors, and as Education/Conference Chair. I look forward to continuing my affiliation with RFT.
Update... Since Pam has retired from Brevard County.
