DESCRIPTION:Tweet\n				\n\n\n\nView this email in your browser \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration is FREE! \nSponsorship Opportunities are Available. \nThe Florida Composting Council (FLCC)\, formed in 2022\, is the newest USCC affiliated state chapter.  The FLCC is represented by organics recycling professionals who are working together to educate state regulators\, local officials and the public about the importance of compost manufacturing to local waste management programs\, business development\, and also the benefits of using compost in commercial and residential landscaping\, stormwater management\, erosion control and green infrastructure. \nFor a compost manufacturer\, participation in the STA program opens up markets in which compost specifiers such as State DOTs and landscape architects may utilize the data presented on a Compost Technical Data Sheet (CTDS)\, in order to appropriately spec compost for various applications.  However\, in order to make the most of this opportunity\, groundwork and partnerships with state regulators\, private contractors and compost applicators must be developed\, and will require long term stewardship.
