The purpose of the Mentorship Committee is to provide professional growth, collaboration, and member education to further the mission of RFT and provide another new benefit for our members. This program expands member benefits to include a way to have a peer-to-peer exchange for professional development with a mentor. For members new to the profession, the program offers growth through learning more about the the industry, or other questions you may have. This is an explorative opportunity to connect one-on-one with seasoned professionals. This program is intended to place appropriate mentors with selected mentees through a six-month program.
The program launch will begin in January and culminate at the Annual Conference. The 2024 program allows for selecting a group of five mentors and five mentees. Please submit your interest now.
If you are interested in being considered as a mentor or as a mentee, please fill out the survey via the button below by Friday, January 19th so that the Mentorship Committee can review and select the 2024 class. Applications that are not selected for participation this year will be kept for future classes and future outreach and networking opportunities.
We appreciate your membership in Recycle Florida Today, and we hope you or someone you know will participate in this program to continue to grow and expand our industry!
Sincerely,
Josh McMinds, Citrus County BOCC
