Carmen Bruno, University of Florida
Carmen has over 22 years working in Solid Waste Management, including customer service, scale house operations, recycling, site utilization, and training. Currently he is working as the Refuse and Recycling Operations Manager for the University of Florida (UF). At UF he is working to improve the University’s Integrated Solid Waste programs. Before finding his way into the solid waste industry Carmen worked as an Industrial Engineer in the contract manufacturing sector. Carmen has held SWANA certification as a Recycling Systems and Composting Manager and currently holds numerous FDEP certifications in solid waste.
