Event Postponed
Thank you for your interest in the Harvest Community Garden Composting Event. The event originally scheduled to take place on November 12th in Okeechobee, FL has been postponed to a future date. If you have already preregistered for the event you will receive a refund within the next 48 hours via your same form of payment. As we continue our outreach to local Community and Master Gardeners, we look forward to the rescheduling and invite your continued interest.

Attendees can also expect to receive information during the tour of Waste Management’s (WM) Okeechobee Organics Recycling Facility. WM’s two Florida operations will allow attendees to observe different food waste composting systems and the technology behind them, the Okeechobee Facility uses a Comp Dog aeration system with synthetic cover technology. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit an Indiantown Organic Farm as well.
