Ocala, FL – Recycle Florida Today, Inc., Florida’s state recycling organization (SRO), has announced this year’s board of directors, including five incumbents and one newly ratified member for the two-year term. Joining the board is new member, Dayna Miller of Waste Pro.  Dayna currently serves as the Municipal Marketing Representative for the North Florida region for Waste Pro of Florida, Inc.  She began her career in the solid waste business with Waste Pro in 2007 in commercial and construction sales and was promoted to Municipal Marketing and Public Relations in 2010.  Miller will serve her two-year term along with five incumbents, Jim Davis of Jim Davis CPA, Patti Hammond of the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, Gina Hawkins of Keep Alachua County Beautiful, Stephanie Kissinger of Waste Management Inc. of Florida, and Chris Snow of Consolidated Resource Recovery, Inc.

In addition to welcoming incoming directors, the Board met virtually, and an Executive Committee was chosen:

Recycle Florida Today’s other directors consist of Rusty Angel of Machinex Technologies, Carmen Bruno of Hernando County, Rob Eck of Sierra Container, David Hill of CycleLogic, Shelley Samec of Alachua County, and Miriam Zimms of Kessler Consulting, Inc.

Recycle Florida Today, Inc. (RFT) is Florida’s state recycling organization and premier association representing recycling and environmental professionals throughout Florida from both the public, private and non-profit sectors. RFT was formed to be a driving force to help Florida implement its recycling goals and objectives. RFT continues to provide educational and networking opportunities about recycling for all Floridians as well as support to local and state elected officials on laws and regulations affecting the recycling industry.
