RECYCLE FLORIDA TODAY, INC. ANNOUNCES 2026-2027 EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Ocala, FL – Recycle Florida Today, Inc. (RFT), known as Florida’s state recycling organization (SRO), announced their executive committee and board of directors, including newly ratified members for the two-year term. In addition to welcoming incoming directors, the board elected the 2026-2027 executive committee with Tim Lamontagne as chairperson, Dayna Williams as vice chairperson, Shakeel Balroop as treasurer, and Sue Flak as secretary. Shakeel Balroop will also serve on the board of the Florida Composting Council (FLCC), appointed by the board as the liaison between RFT and the FLCC. The FLCC is a Chapter of the US Composting Council fiscally sponsored by RFT.

Incumbents elected to the board include Levin Gaston of Gaston Tree Debris Recycling, Rhonda Harvey of Keep Charlotte Beautiful, Shiraz Kashar of WM, and Dayna Williams of Waste Pro USA. Returning to the board is newly elected director, Carmen Bruno of the University of Florida. Carmen brings his expertise working in Solid Waste Management, including customer service, scale house operations, recycling, site utilization, and training.

By working together, we can raise the standard for our industry, expand RFT’s influence, and position the organization as Florida’s leading voice for recycling and sustainability,” said Tim Lamontagne, RFT Chairperson and Deputy Director of Operations for the Lee County Solid Waste Department.
The newly elected board will serve their two-year term along with the current board. Current directors serving RFT are Consultant, Shakeel Balroop; Jonathan Brown of the City of Delray Beach; Justin Davis of Coastal Waste & Recycling; Sue Flak of Indian River County; Tim Lamontagne of Lee County Solid Waste Department; John Mitchell of Coca-Cola Beverages Florida; and Shelley Samec of Alachua County Solid Waste & Resource Recovery.
