How to get your voucher?

Only purchase your voucher online at the Indian River County Tax Collector’s Office at https://govhub.com/indianriver/vouchers/#recycle_florida.

or

Purchase your voucher “in-person” at any tax collector’s office or DMV.  Tell the clerk you want the “Recycle Florida” specialty plate voucher.

Vouchers are non-refundable.  You will need to enter the license plate number for a vehicle owned by the person purchasing the voucher.

What is the cost?

The cost of the specialty voucher is $32.50 online.  However, you may be subject to renewal or other fees based on your individual situation implemented by the DMV or tax collector’s office beyond the voucher purchase.  The DMV or tax collector’s office will be able to provide more information on your individual situation.

When will you receive your voucher and specialty plate?

1. When your transaction has been processed, the customer may receive with a Specialty License Plate Voucher Receipt.

2. Once all requirements have been met (we must sell 3,000 vouchers), the department will place the order for the specialty license plate. When they are manufactured, they will be sent to the county tax collector offices and will be distributed to the license plate agencies in their county.

3. At the end of the 2-year period, if the organization has not met the 3,000 pre-sale vouchers the department will discontinue the specialty license plate voucher and it will no longer be available for sale. If this happens, customers that purchased the voucher can use the credit toward another specialty license plate or request a refund.
