Florida Composting Council – Compost Tour and Workshop at Atlas Organics

OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING: The training will cover the fundamentals of composting methods and technologies and how to practice those fundamentals at a commercial-scale composting facility. The attendees will be provided with a composting fundamentals certificate.
A half-day training will be provided. Registration includes lunch, training, event certificate, and facility tour. Registration is limited to the first 40 people, so register today to ensure a place.

- $40.00 for Florida Composting Council members
- $50.00 per participant for non-members

SPEAKERS BIOGRAPHIES
Dr. Monica Hampton is well-known in agriculture. She has been called Florida’s “Compost Queen” through her research and workshops on compost utilization through UF/IFAS and the US Composting Council. She is the founder and CEO of TerraNutri, LLC., a consulting company specializing in research and development in agriculture/compost and composting. Justin Goren is the site manager of Atlas Organics for the Vero Beach branch.
Chris Snow is the Vice President of Corporate Operations at Veransa and FLCC Board Chair and Chapter Director. Chris has over 30 years of municipal solid waste management experience in the areas of organics recycling, solid waste collection and recycling programs, disaster debris management, and capital projects planning and construction management. Chris has an undergraduate degree in Resource Management, and a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Chris also serves on the board of Recycle Florida Today, Inc. as treasurer and the board of trustees for the Recycle Florida Today Foundation, Inc.
