Jim Davis (Incumbent)
CPA
As a former Executive Director of a local nonprofit and member of several sustainability related nonprofits, I believe I can assist with operational, governance and branding issues. After completing my first term on the Board, I have acquired knowledge about the priorities and history of RFT and will be a more effective Board member.
Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach CountyPatti has worked in the Solid Waste and Recycling industry for over 20 years at Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County (SWA) as the Education Manager. Under Patti’s direction, her staff of five strives to educate students and residents about waste prevention and recycling through presentations, facilities tours, virtual presentations and special events. In addition, Patti served as Chair of the Board as a dedicated volunteer to the RFT organization for nearly 4 years and I have been an active member for over 20 years. I take pride in knowing that my efforts today can hopefully help the greater good for the future. By working diligently with the other Board members on behalf of the RFT organization, I feel that we can set an example for a first class State Recycling Organization and provide opportunities for our members to gain true.
Gina Hawkins (Incumbent)

My desire to serve on the RFT Board is rooted in my belief that cooperation among the public, private and nonprofit sectors is essential to the success of recycling. With over 35 years in waste management, including 15 years of experience as a municipal recycling coordinator, I bring substantial experience and knowledge to the board. Moreover, I continue to be passionate about recycling and will use my knowledge, experience, skills, and passion to help our Board, and RFT as a whole, to grow and fortify our association membership to meet the challenges of the next 30 years.
Denise Houghtaling
MW Horticulture Recycling Facility Inc.
I have enjoyed my time as a member of RFT for the past few years and have got to know some of the members of the organization. I feel that I would be an asset to the organization as I have made some mistakes in the industry but have learned quite a lot about the ins and the outs and have learned from those mistakes. I believe I could help future members on how to not make those same mistakes and also grow the organization further. There’s a whole group of private organizations that should be more involved in the membership that’s not currently taking advantage of the many benefits. Thank you for considering me and whatever the decision I am happy to continue as on the organics committee and any other committee’s I may be needed.
