Recycle Florida Today, Inc. (RFT) is the most influential body of environmental and sustainability professionals in Florida. Our organization is comprised of recycling coordinators, managers, haulers, processors, operators, consultants, non-profits, and individuals working towards the advancement of recycling, resource conservation, sustainable and environmental stewardship in Florida through source reduction and waste prevention, (reduction, reuse, recycling, composting), and legislative advocacy, henceforward notated as SRWPLA. Our industry creates value. Together, we are united and represent a broader network that reaches the entire State to offer professional education and resources that are valuable to those of whom we serve.
This Florida Education Resource Guide for Florida Local Governments was developed with the purpose to offer a guide that highlighted Florida program efforts by county in one educational and visual resource. Board for their leadership and vision in developing this resource, to our committees and members for your sustainable and environmental stewardship work in Florida. A special thank you to Alachua, Brevard, Collier, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lee, Leon, St. Lucie, and Sumter Counties for sharing their resources with us. Thank you to our 67 Florida Counties and their partners for your work and efforts in advancing SRWPLA in Florida.
